sargan-eight1From “Mokra gora” to “Sargan Vitasi” you will pass through 22 tunnels,over five bridges,and overcome the altitude difference of 300 meters, and all that on a total distance of 15,440 meters. Down the canyon on river Kamesina to the gentle valley of Mokra Gora. On “Eight” runs “Nostalgija” train, which is very popular among children, adults, domestic and foreign tourists. The museum train “Nostagija” consists of restored second and third class coaches, dining car and is ibeing hauled, depending on requirements, by steam or diesel locomotive.

During your ride you will have an opportunity to see from one of five observation platforms  all the beauty and richness of the nature of this region.

“Sargan eight” is the most atractive museum and tourist Railway of narrow-gauge track on the Balcan Peninsula, while museum and tourist complex “Sargan eight” represents special tourist attraction, visited by 10.000 tourists from country and abroad every year.

Twice a month “Romantika” train will take you to Branesci, to visit the “Sargan Eight” complex or to ride on narrow gauge track on the “Nostalgija“ train.
plavivoz1One of the most famous and most popular trains in the whole world was build in 1959 for special needs of former president of SFRY – Josip Broz Tito. Designed as a place that provides accommodation, working conditions and opportunity to complete all protocol obligations while traveling, this train was real residence on wheels in the country and abroad.
Equipped with all what was necessary for the luxurious and comfortable traveling, the train was labeled with the food reason as a train saloon. The interior of the train was mostly made of wood. The builders used mahagony, pear and wlnut, and saloons and hailways were decorated with quality materials and preserved in its authentic form.
The main part of the blue train consists of: apartment saloon of the president, ceremonial conference saloon, dining car, central kitchen, apartment saloon for guests, sleeping car and energy-distribution wagon.
The president Tito had over 60 politicians from all over the world as guests in his blue train, which made more than 600 000 km.
