The first records of the Slovenian behalf of Belgrade dating back 878 years. The city has remained the subject of dispute between the Byzantium, Hungary and Bulgaria over the next four centuries. Historical parts and buildings of Belgrade are among the city’s tourist attractions.
They include Skadarlija, the National Museum, the nearby National Theatre, Zemun, Nikola Pasic Square, Milos residence, Princess Ljubica, Terazije, Students’ Square, the Kalemegdan, Knez Mihailo Street, the National Assembly, the Temple of Saint Sava, and the Old Palace.
