Come to Rozanstvo and turn yourself to Trnava. After this village, that of Sirogojno risks to leave you some god souvenirs in 1979 a stylist already of reputation had the ingenious idea to group the nicest traditional houses of the environment on a hill of the village of Sirogojno. It was at the initiative of Dobrila Smiljanic that techno complex of Sirogojno was born in 1985. in addition to the museum of the popular arts an of the exhibition halls, the interest is here to have a typical village from West Serbia entirely reconstructed.
The main house constructed on a slope is a “celica” with two pieces and the East/West entrances. The life has been organized about the central hearth, but there was a room and a basement or “podrum” where the cereals and vegetables fir winter had been kept. The furniture is rustical, but of very characteristic construction with a very high roof of wood or of straw raised on a pole on the rounded insertions. On the left, somewhat lower a smaller square house, “vajat” or the workshop with the barrels. Then, at the same height as the vayat and spreading to the right an ensemble of little houses being at the same time the hops and the workshops of the age, where the milk houses could be distinguished where they make their “kajmak”, the goat milk cheese from the cheese house or the “salas”, a kind of cereals and maize barn.
