Kopaonik (Central Serbia)

 

In the south of Kraljevo, it is situated between two tops of 2 017 m (Pancicev vrh) and 1 976 m (Suvo Rudiste) - it is the ski station the most popular in Serbia.

 

Kopaonik appears like a complete winter sports resort, with 22 tracks of an overall length of 60 km, including 4 black tracks, 6 reds and 11 blue and 4 tracks for children.

 

In addition to the Alpine skiing, one practises the paragliding, the snow-board , with a fun-park for the half-pipe and excursions of  "free ride"; alpinism, free- climbing and the walks in ski-safari to the highest tops. Of course, basic ski pistes in the valleys, through splendid forests of fir trees and motor bike-ski in low altitude.

 

In summer, trekking, mountain-bike, photo safari in the Jeep, rafting and paragliding in the large National park of Kopaonik.

Stara Planina (Eastern Serbia)

 

Stara planina represents one of the most precious tourist places in Serbia. It is located 70 km from Nis, 100 km from Zajecar and 330 km from Belgrade and is considered as the most beautiful and the highest  mountain in the Eastern Serbia.

 

Its higher peak is Midzor 2169 m that is also the highest in Serbia. The most touristic peak is Babin zub and it is 1780 m high.

 

In autumn 2006, the construction of  the new chair-lift 4 places began on Babin zub. It is envisaged to construct 40 km of ski-lift and 100 km of tracks for 14 000 skiers. The opening of two ski pistes and two chair-lifts is planned for the 30/12/06!

 

The prices of the skipass will be at  half price than those in Kopaonik!
