Serbia Tourism - Visit Serbia and take a new look at your old neighbour

East Serbia

East Serbia has been an excellent region of adventure tourism. The mountain region made of numerous planes wedged in and many water sources. This part of the country abundant with the unique itineraries in the full nature. At a bending of a gorge you will encounter a waterfall of great beauty a little church settled in a luxuriant nature. On the summits of the mountains of Homolje or Kucaj long walks will make you discover the majestic landscapes or traverse large continental forests. A particular phenomenon is that in these numerous mountains there are not less than15 caves open to the tourism avec the natural beauties to be discovered.

East Serbia that is also the thermal stations always placed in an agreeable environment. And even of they have been marked by the age, they are still offering numerous activities in leisure time. In brief, they are the places to rest and to regain fitness. Finally, this region has also been marked by the history, but in a manner different if that in other parts o Serbia. Several Roman locations as Gamzigrad and Caricin Grad in addition to other archaeological locations disseminated on the territory. Otherwise the town of Nis has been a good example of this history with its Ottoman and Roman remnants.

 

Despotovac - Bor

The passage between these two little towns of the East Serbia will permit you to approach the natural riches across the waving mountain massifs and rivers. The monastery fortress Manasija,the waterfalls of Lisine and the cave of Resava are to be discovered...
