The National Park of Kopaonik is no only the most important mountain massive on Serbia, but also its most developed skiing station. At the summit a little town organized around the great hotel complex with a lot of bars, game halls and discothèques. But all around the National Park on 11,800 square meters surface area avec not less than 10 natural reservations. Complete winter sports station
But Kopaonik is also the best location n Serbia for the top sports. On the high altitudes the parapet is also favoured. On the alpine summits the snowboard with a fun park for the half pipe a diving trampoline and the “free ride” excursions. Also the climbing and alpinism have been organized in the high massifs with the walks on the highest summits with ski safari. On the smaller altitudes beautiful fundamental skiing pathways have been developed in the high mountain valleys across the alpine fir tree forests. ALPINE SKIING. A ski tour for the whole complex costs for the adults 1,100 dinars a day, 2,700 dinars for three days and 3,000 dinars for a week (7 days). The rent for a complete equipment is 750 dinars a days both for skiing and fir the snowboard. Finally a lesson in skiing costs 900 dinars, a tariff not accessible for the majority of nations, but acceptable for a Westerner, even if the prices had been blazing the last years. EXTREME SPORTS: “Yugotours” organizes excursions to the summits of ski safari or moto-snow at the lowest altitude, always with a guide (50 Euro half a day of motor-skiing). The parapet developed very quickly last years with the international competition and numerous associations of which the most important is the “Paragliding Club” or “Rtanj”. The snowboard and the free climbing are in explosion, but neither alpinism in the high mountains was at rest thanks to the alpine club of “Rtanj”.
