VALJEVO « Yu Jazz Fest » : The best jazz musicians from the ex-Yugoslavia (end of May)

NOVI SAD « Tancuj, Tancuj » : Slovak music and dance.

KUĆEVO « Homoljski Motivi » : Authentic folklore from East Serbia.

KNJAŽEVAC «Ethno Festival » : Serbian folklore and shepherds’ competition.

ZAJECAR « Festival of Saint-George » : Music from Central and East Serbia.

June

NIŠ «Constantin Festival» : Celebration of the city were Constantin the emperor was born. Parades in « Ancient Rome » style and numerous antique competitions. (beginning of June)

ARANDJELOVAC « Marbles and Sounds» : International festival and place where  of different musicians, sculptors, painters and artists meet.  Concerts of classical music, art exhibitions and debates in the town’s most beautiful parks.

VRNJAČKA BANJA : Cultural festival - « 100 days - 100 events ». Classical and jazz concerts, fashion shows and different exhibitions. (29 June - 15 October)

BRANKOVINA : Traditional Serbian poems and chants near Valjevo (end of June).

DONJI MILANOVAC:  «Shepherd’s festival» : Races and plays of force

RUMA « Tamburitza festival  » : Competition between orchestra playing tamburitza  (typical string instrument from Vojvodina).

RUSKI KRSTUR « Red roses » : Ruthenian and Ukrainian folklore et dances.

ŠABAC : Horse-races, chariot competitions (end of June).

July

NOVI SAD «Exit Fest» : The biggest music festival in the South-Eastern Europe. It takes place in the enchanting fortress of Petrovaradin during four days. Artists of rock, reggae, house, hip hop and world music perform on more than 10 scenes in a big park near the Danube river. www.exitfest.org

BELGRADE « BELEF Belgrade Summer Festival» : Theater, music and art.  (1st July – 31st  August )

NIŠ « International choir festival » : Choirs from all over the world , particularly from Eastern Europe (every pair year).

APATIN « Golden hands » : Festival of fishing games (beginning of july)
« Gypsy’ s nights »:  Gypsy’s music and tradition festival. Great party atmosphere.

BAČKI BRESTOVAC  «St-Peter Festival » : World championship in throwing stones, stilt racing and pulling cords.

BANJA VRUJICI  « Accordion Festival » : Competition between the best accordion players.

KOSJERIĆ  « Shepherd’s days »: Flute and gusla players’ festival.

PRISLONICA  « Frula » - Meeting between Serbian flute players  (end of july).

SREMSKA MITROVICA  « Kulenijada » ou Saussage Festival : Traditional music and chants

ZLATIBOR  « Sabor » - Competition between trumpet orchestras from all over Serbia and their selection for Dragacevo in august.

August

GUČA  « Guca Trumpet Festival » - The biggest gypsy music festival of the Balkans. The dozens of brass orchestras from all over Serbia, Bosnia and Macedonia but other European countries as well. Party atmosphere guaranteed ! 

BELGRADE  « BELEF, Summer Festival » - theatre, music and arts (1st july / 31st  august).

NIŠ « Film Festival» - The most important film festival in the ex-Yugoslavia concerning the number of films that are presented.
        « Insomnia »: Open air music festival.

VRNJACKA BANJA -  Concerts, choirs and theatre plays in parks. (29 june/15 oct)

ZRENJANIN « Fijakerada » -  Contest of hackney carriages, horse-races.

APATIN « German and Hungarian nights » - In occasion of the Hungarian festival of Kirbaj, traditional dancing and music on the banks of the Danube. (15 august)

BOGATIĆ « Nights of Hajduks » - horse-races,  force games.

SOKOBANJA – Competition for the best accordionist player of Serbia. 

VALJEVO « Tesnjarske Večeri » : Concerts, theatre plays, literature evenings organized on the banks of the river Kolubara.

BELGRADE « Belgrade Beer Fest » :More than 40 beer brands, concerts and lots of fun in the park of Kalemegdan.

September

BELGRADE « BITEF International Theatre Festival of Belgrade » - Exists for 40 years and has a good reputation in all European countries. New theatrical tendencies.

POŽAREVAC « Festival of Ljubićevo »  -  Horse-races and other horse battles.
(1° week-end in september)

KRALJEVO « Beans Festival » - Countryside festival that celebrates the national dish – pasulj (beans). 

LESKOVAC « Roštiljada » - Festival of grilled meat ! Concerts and party!

SRBOBRAN – Traditional dance and music festival of Vojvodina. 

SREMSKI KARLOVAC « Brankovo Kolo » - Serbian dance, poems and recitals.

TRŠIĆ « Festival Vuk Karadzić » : Festival celebrating work of Vuk Karadzic, Serbian language reformer.

VRŠAC « Festival of the grape harvest » -  Festival of the grape harvest not far from Belgrade.

SMEDEREVO « Autumn Festival» - Parade and medevial music in the Fortress on the Danube (end of september).

October

BELGRADE « BEMUS Belgrade Music Festival » - International festival of classical music.

NIŠ « Niš ville » - International jazz festival.

SREMSKI KARLOVCI -  Festival of the grape harvest in very nice surroundings (beginning of october)

TOPOLA : Festival of traditional art.

SONTA « Bal in honour of the grape harvest » - Traditional celebration in a small village near Apatin. 

SUBOTICA « Berbanski Dani » : Harvest festival.
